The Midnight Hour feat. CeeLo Green: Questions
When DJ/songwriter/producer Ali Shaheed Muhammed (of A Tribe Called Quest, Lucy Pearl and The Ummah) and composer/arranger/producer Adrian Younge joined their (immense) forces, the result was bound to be something special. The two—who previously produced Kendrick Lamar’s “untitled 06” together—formed The Midnight Hour, and today their divine single “Questions,” featuring vocals from CeeLo Green, has been released. The track is just as slinky and sublime as expected and will appear on the duo’s long-awaited debut record, which they’ve been working on since 2013. Blending all kinds of genres (including jazz, hip-hop and funk) it’s effortlessly tender and undeniably pretty.
