Parley + adidas Originals’ Eco-Friendly Sneakers
Made from upcycled plastic waste, shoes that put the power of change with the consumer
Always of the belief that the power of change is in our hands as consumers, Parley for the Oceans has teamed up with adidas Originals for the EQT Support ADV sneaker. Available in two shades of blue, the core of this collaboration is that they are made from recycled Parley Ocean Plastic which is crafted from upcycled plastic waste.
This trash is collected on beaches in the Maldives before it gets out into the ocean. Not only is the material incredibly innovative and kind to the environment, this is the first time it’s been applied to an adidas Originals product—and it’s a celebration of a silhouette born in the ’90s. Bold, statement-making sea hues, along with a move in the right direction for our planet, the Parley + adidas EQT Support ADV 91/16 pack releases 14 October in selected retailers for $160.
