Tit Tee by Sarah Shikama
A playful, hand-beaded top that leaves almost everything to the imagination
Chicago-based visual artist and metalsmith Sarah Shikama is best known for her handmade jewelry (which draws inspiration from as varied subjects as Brancusi to the sea), but it was her “Tit Tee” that made us stop in our tracks. The hand-beaded, illustrated outline of breasts is cleverly subtle and an office-appropriate (maybe) way of expressing support for the #FreeTheNipple movement.
The Tit Tee is available for $140 in either black or white from Shikama’s webshop as well as in store at stockists like Brooklyn’s Sincerely, Tommy (which is open to phone orders for the time being).
