The Features of YouTube TV
More than 50 networks—including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, AMC and ESPN—are bringing their programming to YouTube under a $35 a month subscription package. This means live content from each network will air on the service—through web, smartphone and tablet—simultaneously with its distribution on TV. A subscription includes up to six accounts per household, so families or roommates don’t have to compete for use. Additionally, YouTube TV will have an unlimited cloud DVR feature, storing recorded shows for up to nine months. To lure in users for their five launch markets, YouTube is offering a free 30-day trial—and will give new members a Google Chromecast upon first month’s payment.
